Shortcuts & Canned Responses

It’s important to respond your customers as quickly as possible when you’re supporting them through live chat.

The chat is also a great opportunity to capture and record customer details.

You can do all of this using live chat shortcuts.

When a new chat is started by a customer on your site, you’ll see a short summary of the available shortcuts in your chat app.

To customize your shortcuts simply login to UserPulse, select Settings, Chat and scroll to the Canned Messages section.

Customer Experience Survey (click here to view)

We came across this list that we thought might be of interest to the UserPulse community. Some interesting insights about customer service in particular, that could be implemented in live chat:

80% of customers prefer to speak with a representative at the weekends

72% of all customers believe it takes too long to reach a live agent

50% of the people survey said that agents failed to answer their questions

Do you agree with these results? Do they reflect your experience as a business owner?

Identify Website Visitors

If only you knew who’s visiting your site…

…you could contact them if they were taking a long time to decide/convert

If only you knew what they were interested in…

…you could serve them personalized content to increase their engagement

Identify Website Visitors

Welcome to the new version of UserPulse.

UP now identifies who is visiting your site. For individuals this is based on marketing campaigns received, and for businesses this is using their IP address.

UP creates a profile of each visitor including their interests based on the pages they’ve visited.

Use this information to target and follow up with undecided buyers and increase your sales.

Email Campaign Follow Up Visits

Tools like MailChimp are great for designing and sending email campaigns, but they also provide insight including click-through rates.

However - we’ve found in our marketing campaigns that the vast majority of email recipients are going to the site directly (as a results of receiving the email) rather than clicking through the email.

Understanding which leads are following through on your website provides a great indication of their level of interest in your product or service - and can be used to drive follow-up marketing and sales activities.

UserPulse shows you which of the leads in your email campaign have subsequently visited your site. It will even show you which pages they visited.

UserPulse seamlessly integrates with MailChimp. All you need to do is add a UserPulse tracking pixel to your MailChimp campaigns.

Live Chat for Mobile Apps
UserPulse live chat works on any HTML5 application, so you can embed it in your mobile apps and have your visitors contact you directly from their mobile!
Mobile commerce is on the increase. More and more people are buying using their phones. When buying on a mobile it’s even harder to see all of the information you are looking for crammed into a mobile app screen. All the more reason to ensure that shopping carts are not abandoned by providing live chat sales support to answer those questions that are holding up the purchase.
UserPulse works on any mobile device that supports standard HTML and JavaScript. It can also be embedded within HTML5 apps that work on iPhone and Android.
If you installed your app by copying a line of code, then you can use the same code again on your mobile site. If you have one site for regular browsers and mobile, then it will automatically work on mobile.
From the customer service agent’s perspective chatting is the same, regardless of whether the customer is on their phone or on the web site.
Customer service agents can even provide service through a mobile device or tablet. Our customer service dashboard works on iPhone, iPad and other mobile devices through their browsers, so you can provide service from anywhere.
